Sounds of Terrington

The images on this page show the Terrington CD front cover and track list.

The CD has a total of 28 recordings including music, songs and stories reflecting life in Terrington in 2006/7. The recording of ambient sounds is a mix ranging from the dawn chorus, through Jack the donkey, now deceased, to children playing in the school playground.

There are readings by members of the Terrington players, who have been performing plays in the village for several years. Some of these are poems by local authors. Terrington village choir contribute two songs and there are tunes from the Helperby tune book played by the ceilidh band Tiefrung Gleemen.

The children from both Terrington CE Primary School and Terrington Hall school contribute a variety of songs.
